Ola S1 Gen 3 Electric Scooters Deliveries Begin in India
Ola Electric has started deliveries of its S1 Gen 3 scooters, including S1 X, S1 Pro, and S1 Pro+, following the end of introductory pricing for the S1 X+ and S1 Pro last month.

Ola Electric has begun deliveries of its S1 Gen 3 Electric Scooters, including the S1 X, S1 Pro, and S1 Pro+. This comes after the end of introductory pricing for the S1 X+ and S1 Pro last month, which resulted in a price increase for both models. The Gen 3 scooters bring notable upgrades over the previous generation, featuring a sleek new design, improved efficiency, and a stronger build with an integrated battery pack. The mid-mounted motor and chain drive, along with pre-lubricated O-rings offer a quieter and more refined riding experience.
In addition, the Gen 3 platform offers a 20% boost in peak power and range, reduces production costs by 11%, and includes cutting-edge innovations like dual ABS and Ola's proprietary brake-by-wire technology. The range starts at Rs 80,000 and reaches up to Rs 1.70 lakh. These are ex-showroom prices.
Ola S1 Gen 3 Scooters: Key Specifications
The S1 Pro is available in two versions: 4kWh and 3kWh, both powered by an 11 kW (14.75bhp) mid-drive motor. The 4kWh variant has a top speed of 125km/h and an IDC range of 242 kilometres. In contrast, the 3kWh version has a 117km/h of top speed and a range of 176 kilometres. Both versions accelerate from 0-40km/h in just 2.7 seconds.

The S1 Pro+ comes with a more powerful 13 kW (17.43bhp) motor and is offered in 5.3kWh and 4kWh configurations. The 5.3kWh variant has a top speed of 141km/h and a range of 320 kilometres, while the 4kWh variant boasts 128km/h of maximum speed and a range of 242 kilometres. The acceleration times from 0-40 km/h are 2.1 seconds for the 5.3kWh and 2.3 seconds for the 4kWh model. The S1 X, the more affordable option, comes in 4kWh, 3kWh, and 2kWh battery options, all powered by a 7kW (9.38bhp) motor. The 4kWh variant achieves 123km/h and a range of 242 kilometres, while the 3kWh version offers 115km/h with 176 km of range. The 2kWh model reaches 101km/h and has a range of 108 kilometres.

The S1 X accelerates from 0-40km/h in 3.0, 3.1, and 3.4 seconds, respectively. The S1 X+ tops the S1 X range with its 4kWh battery and 11kW motor, offering a 125km/h top speed, 242 kilometres of range, and a 0-40km/h acceleration time of 2.7 seconds.
